I had a joyful experience with Currys recently. An Indesit washer/dryer that wrecked my clothes by immovable creasing if I dried them. Indesit and Currys denied that there was a problem, even in response to letters to their CEO. I issued court proceedings, Indesit made several more visits and admitted the machine was faulty and they couldn't fix it. Agreed to uplift and replace. Can you imagine my pleasure in emailing the legal droid there and asking if they now wished to reconsider their position or whether they would like to take down their corporate trousers in court. They agreed to settle my claim in full as I had given them the option of supplying a replacement machine of a different make rather than a refund :-)

But I will never do business with them or any of their limbs again. I believe Pixmania is largely owned by DSG as well, which is rather amusing because the price-matched Pixmania's web price on the replacement machine
