O2 Broadband
Well no surprise there: having been told on Friday by O2 that they would definitely call me back within 24Â hours by when Be Broadband – part of O2 – had removed their details from the line, after 48Â hours their website still claims that a service is already on that line and no-one has called me back.
{sigh}
Of course, if I visit the Be Broadband website it says I can get ADSL2+ and would I like to place an order?
Left hand, meet right hand…
Anyway, O2 have no record of my telephone calls – excellent stuff, O2… – but Claire has promised to ring me back within 5Â working days. We’ll see.

Hi! As you can probably tell from my username, I’m Louise from Be Broadband. If this is still not sorted please can you send me a private message via Be’s forum letting me know the full extent of your issues and I will try and get it sorted. My username on that forum is Lkirlew.
Thanks and sorry you’re experiencing some issues!
Louise
Hi Louise and thanks for picking up on this so quickly!
If it weren’t for the fact that I have a Demon business package incl. static IP block at my other place and only need this weekeday evenings, I’d have signed up directly. But O2’s pricing for customers – my kids’ mobiles are O2 – means a saving over Be Broadband’s direct pricing, so I’m having to wait for them.
My line is still showing on the O2 website as having Be Broadband on it, so it looks like they’re still doing nothing.
